The Guyton Historic Preservation Commission recently unveiled a sign at the memory garden near the north end of the walking trail on Ga. 17.
The memory garden contains bricks engraved with the names of people who have ties to the city, both living and dead.
People who want to place a brick in the garden can pay a $35 fee and fill out a form at City Hall.
The garden has a slogan: “Some were born here. Some died here. All are honored here.”
