RICHMOND HILL - Mary Wallette Proman passed away at home Nov. 17 under care of Hospice Savannah after a long battle with colon cancer.

She was a lifelong resident of Richmond Hill and a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She loved to craft, shop, travel, cook and spend time with family and friends. She was a member of Daniel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wilkie; son, Jerome (Dee); daughter, Traci Arnsdorff (Hinton); grandchildren, April and Bradley; great-grandchildren, Emilie, Christopher, and Austin; great-great-grandchildren, Avery and Bentley; sisters, Juanita Henderson and Clarice Yarbrough; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Nov. 12 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Nov. 13 at Daniel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Proman will lie in state for one-half hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery.
