High School basketball playoffs: Jenkins loses coin toss, will travel to Calhoun

The Jenkins boys will have to travel to Calhoun to face the Yellow Jackets Wednesday in a Class 3A Final Elite Eight matchup after the Warriors lost a coin flip Friday morning. Two local teams will square off in another 3A quarterfinal when Islands takes on host Liberty County Wednesday with tipoff set for 6:30 p.m.
On the girls side, Beach will be on the road Tuesday to face Central Macon in 3A action, while Johnson hosts Peach County. The Bryan County girls lost a coin flip and will travel to Rome to face Model Tuesday in 2A action, while the Woodville-Tompkins girls are at Marion County in a Class A Public quarterfinal Tuesday

Bryan County at Model, 5 p.m.
Class 3A
Peach County at Johnson, 6 p.m.
Beach at Central Macon, 6 p.m.
Boys Class 3A
